All Tongo ever wanted to do was to become the most famous "Apeman" the movies have ever seen. He did everything right; captured and thrown into a bamboo cage, flew threw the air with the greatest of ease, and even beat his chest like a wildman! BUT, the big ape left the tape recorder behind. Too bad.
The tape recorder used by Denny Miller (Tongo) has been identified as a "Telmar T-100" made by "Martel."
