The supply hut is a very important storage area on the island. Flares use to be stored there until Gilligan burned up the hut by firing a flare into it, making a wonderful firework display. This hut was also used to store Gilligan's collection of bird feathers. He was trying to gather up enough feathers for a pillow Mr. Howell was making for Lovey. Unfortunately, that was the day the Mars Probe landed and Houston Control thought that they were "Chicken People" because Gilligan covered a boiling glue pot and it exploded all over everybody. They chased him into the storage hut and all the feathers stuck to them. They sure did look like chickens!
