Yes, you are correct...."Gilligan's Island." If you watched the show, you'll notice that John Ritter tried desperately to sing and announce that Gilligan's Island did in fact win it, but was shot down on live TV! John Ritter was talking and the show was just about to be wrapped up. He was gearing up to tell us that we won the theme song, but suddenly the loud finally music came on, the dancers came out, and John was shot down. Maybe next time Gilligan's Island wins for something, they can announce it ANY TIME OTHER THAN THE END!!!!! (Are you listening TV Land)? In December 2002, TV Land asked viewers to log-on to tvland.com and vote for a bevy of fun and unique categories with the winners to be announced and presented at the TV Land Awards: A Celebration of Classic TV.
