Ahoy There! Welcome to the February edition of the "Gilligan's Island Fan Club." We now have over 2,000 members and growing every day. We would like to thank the folks who have sent us their change of e-mails. Every month we get about 100 e-mail failures and they have to be manually deleted. By telling us that your e-mail address has changed, we can spend more time managing our site. A lot of things have been added on our site lately. Every time you go to our page, make sure that you look at the very top of our site for NEW additions and info. A wonderful search engine has been added to our page! I was informed by member Chip about this wonderful searcher, and now you can search for EVERY WORD on our site!!!! WOW! We have so much information here, that it really comes in handy. Go ahead and give it a try. You should be able to find what you need. If not, please float me a message stating what you would like to see. The search button is located on the upper left hand corner of our main page: http://home.san.rr.com/gilligan/main.html There is a new web site out that you have got to check out! You can play Gilligan crosswords and jigsaw puzzles on-line! Go here and you'll see what I mean. It's worth a visit! http://members.xoom.com/jetsfan1/gilligan.htm We have just added the partial script, "Gilligan's Mother-In-Law" Episode #37. Peggy Jo and Surfer Garry were kind enough to send me this and it is available for you to print and follow the beginning of the episode. He was actually on the stage during the filming of "Gilligan's Island." His Dad didn't want him to meet the girls on the set, but allowed his 2 older brothers to mingle with them. (Lucky dogs!) He told us that they ad-libbed most of the time. You're in luck! You can tape this episode on February 12 at 02:30AM PST on TNT!!! Set your VCR's! http://home.san.rr.com/gilligan/script.html Curious to see what Gilligan collectibles are out there? We have a list of Gilligan products made in the 60's through the 90's and pictures attached to the links. We don't sell them here, but you may be able to find some of these in our Trade/Sell section or on the Internet. http://home.san.rr.com/gilligan/collect.html FINALLY!!! The long awaited "Isle Thing" by Weird Al Yankovic has been added and available in Real Audio for your listening pleasure. (Sorry Web TV) It's quite funny and worth a listen. Thanks to John Paul Saragosa for the music, and Douglas Walter for sending us the words. http://home.san.rr.com/gilligan/islething.html Were you ever curious about the birthdays of the castaways? We now have them available for you to browse. http://home.san.rr.com/gilligan/birthday.html A Director's page was also added just incase you are interested on who was behind the scenes of the show. http://home.san.rr.com/gilligan/director.html You can contact our new Skipper (theoleskip@aol.com) and Thurston at (cd006485@mindspring.com). If you have any questions, they should be able to help you out. Mary Ann (doodee@roxboro.net) has continued to be a great help with the page!!! Does anybody speak French, Spanish, ect...? We are looking for folks who can communicate with others about the show. So many times I get e-mail from people around the world, and I can't understand what the heck they are saying. Any web junkies out there that would be willing to make an interactive html game for the page? It would just be a series of links. It would be something like this but without the graphics. http://www.nuc.berkeley.edu/neutronics/gav/wayfarence/story001.html or http://losfer.com/cgi-bin/story.cgi?next=1&chapter=0 Don't forget to watch "The Castaways on Gilligan's Island" on February 11 at 01:30AM PST and 08:00AM PST on TNT.
