Ahoy There Matey! We hope that you had a pleasant Thanksgiving. Here on the island the Skipper trapped a wild boar and made BBQ spareribs! Ginger made some seaweed soup, Mary Ann cooked up some yams from her garden, the Howell's made a wonderful salad, the Professor created some great spices, and I caught some lobster in the lagoon. All in all, we had a great Thanksgiving feast! No turkey on the island tho'. A special thankx goes to Ginger for taking over the duties on the Trivia Site. I've been real busy on the island and I was unable to keep up with the questions, so Ginger stepped in and took the helm. Without her the trivia section would have surely closed down. Thanks Ginger, you're one in a Million!!! "Meego" was suppose to air on the 21st but it fell through. The Professor, Mary Ann and Gilligan were going to be on the show but it was cancelled. If the show comes on again, we'll let you know. Still no word on the 3rd season of the Columbia House Videos. They are having problems getting the films that aren't cut to pieces. Hopefully they will produce those next year. Are you a creative gamer? If you or someone you know has or can create Doom, Diablo, Quake or Hexen Gilligan's Island levels, then please let us know. We are also looking for any scenery to Flight Simulator 95 or 98, Simcity scenes, or anything program related to Gilligan's Island. If you would like to create a 100 word wordsearch that would be great too. Of course you'll get a full mention. Feel free to send me any ideas. Dart Flip Cards will be producing "Gilligan's Island Bubblegum Cards" and we should see those around the middle of January, 1998. Tina Louise (Ginger) has a book out now called "Sundays." I haven't seen it, but it has NOTHING to do with "Gilligan's Island." (figures) Rumers have been floating around that Tina will also be in a filmed called "Welcome to Woop Woop" in March of next year. I've yet to find any information supporting this. Dawn Wells (Mary Ann) appeared in a music video called "Mary Ann" and was performed by a rock group called "Squirtgun." She also has her own fishing show called "The Reel World of Mary Ann." I've yet to see any of these for myself, but from what sources tell me, they're in stores now. Our latest updates from our Island Correspondent Pete Salisbury has more info in the "News and Updates" section. http://www.lookup.com/homepages/58181/update.html You can watch the original TV movie "The Rescue From Gilligan's Island" on December 31, 10:05am, TBS Pacific time. That's all for now, look for another letter early next month unless something real important comes up, i.e. guest star appearances, ect. Time to clean the supply hut, again. Take care and "Smooth Sailing." Willy Gilligan Gilligan's Island Fan Club
