Ginger wearing the dress
This is Mary Ann and I have just returned from Planet Hollywood in Myrtle Beach, SC. I went there specifically to have lunch with "Ginger Grant's" beautiful beaded gown. As you enter the restaurant and go down a flight of steps, you will see her dress on display. It is gorgeous and she must have been extremely tiny then, although, you can see at the back of the dress where it has been pulled in to fit the dress form. The dress is cased in glass along with a plaque showing the robot and Ginger and the episode she wore the gown. There are so many colored lights hanging overhead, the lights make the dress appear yellow or gold in pictures. But, in person, it is definitely white and in very good condition. If you ever get a chance to go to Myrtle Beach, please plan to have lunch or dinner at Planet Hollywood located at Broadway at the Beach.
